Handwritten Typeface

Brief: Design a font that can be used as a replacement for handwriting.

This font was created for those who want something to look handwritten, without being too fancy or font-like. This typeface works for both body and display text, and includes all of the necessary punctuation and symbols, plus more.

Process: I sketched each letter, symbol, and number in procreate. I started with the uppercase letters and made all of the crossbars a little lower than the x-height to add some character and make it look more casually handwritten. After I sketched all of the letters, numbers, and symbols, I went over them with the gel pen brush and vectorized them in Illustrator.
